Confirmed from Chester Steele Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park with a playground and picnic tables, as well as a splash pad and sledding hill.
What runners say about Chester Steele Park
“😊💖 Chester Steele Park is a very nice park that is well maintained.”
Nice place to relax and share with the family, great space to run, has a small pool for children in the summer, playground, perfect place to see the fireworks on July 4 and in winter is an excellent place to slide in the snow.
Had a great time watching our grandson sledding down the hill at the park. The wind was gusting pretty good, but that didn't discourage Noah. He is quite a trooper! 😊💖 Chester Steele Park is a very nice park that is well maintained.
If you have small children this place is great. Lots if open room from them to run around and plenty of playground equipment to climb. I wasn't here when the kiddie pool was open but that looks pretty fun as well.
Super fun year round. The splash pad is great for hot days, especially for younger kids. Nice to cool off on hot days. Nice playground. There is plenty of grass to run around, throw ball, and/or picnic.
Trail conditions & character
“There's playground equipment, a small splash park, and the hill is great for taking your kids sledding.”
