I’m a pretty decent hiker. I decided to hike the waterfall hike in 97 degree weather and it kicked my butt. It was however completely worth it and I can’t wait to revisit when it’s a bit cooler. I would say most people can hike fairly easily to the first 3 waterfalls and that’s worth the trip!
Clarks Creek is beautiful. There is a small parking fee. So bring some small cash. Also make sure you have appropriate shoes and a backpack to carry any items you may need. If you have a bunch of little ones I would suggest bringing others to help. As the trails can have very steep and rocky parts.
I loved hiking here. Both improved and primitive trails offer beautiful views and the chance to see waterfalls. It is important to understand what this park really offers, though.
This place is absolutely magical! By far one of my favorite places to hike with lots of waterfalls & gorgeous butterflies! The hike downhill to the trails & creek is only the beginning, & there are different trails for varying skill levels.
