Confirmed from Cockaponset State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Connecticut's second largest state forest, with many trails for hiking, mountain biking & skiing.

This is a great hidden trail. Lots of wild life and floura to see and explore. The trails are thin and over grown in some places, but if you want to feel out in the woods and far from it all this is the perfect place.
Frozen lake is great for the folks out ice fishing! Did not get to check out all the trails, but it's the largest State Forest, so plenty to see and return in different seasons to experience it all.
