Confirmed from Comite River Park - Kerry Stamey Mountain Bike Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring maintained trails for hiking and mountain biking, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Comite River Park - Kerry Stamey Mountain Bike Trails
“Very well maintained and challenging bike and hike trail”
“This was a beautiful place to hike and enjoy the day with friends.”
“Fast and flowing with the difficult sections well marked so beginners can easily go around them.”
Love these trails and so did my pup. Did not feel like we were still in BR. Very nice and peaceful. Would definitely come back and bring a picnic for the beach. Trails are pretty well labeled too so did not get lost.
Great trail to hike, not many people, even on Valentines day. Remember to pick up after yourself, I found a few bottles I took out with me.
Excellent riding trails, well maintained too! Had plenty of hikers going to the beach on the comite River this morning and bikers out. Local mtb group volunteers were on the trails doing some trimming keeping the place running.
Excellent MTB trail, fun for all skill levels. Fast and flowing with the difficult sections well marked so beginners can easily go around them. About 6 miles per lap if you do all the little extra sections, 5 miles of you stick to the main loop. I've always felt like it is one of BR's hidden gems.
Trail conditions & character
“But includes small jumps, technical climbs, roots, epic high drops, and a skinny to balance down on.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
