Confirmed from Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“This is probably the best park to come running out in Idaho Falls.”
“The shaded picnic tables are awesome for having snacks or even larger gatherings, and the giant hill will be great for sledding in the winter.”
We love being able to walk around this park. I do wish they would put the mileage signs back up. With all the new apartments going in across the street, I hope the city keeps this park safe and nice. It is currently a great place to walk.
Very nice and popular park. In my experience everyone has always been nice and pleasant. A small but really good play area for the kids which includes a zip line.
This is a lovely park. It's always clean and there's swings and play equipment for kids of all ages. They just added a play area for very young kiddos, so I like that my toddler can play here and graduate to bigger equipment as she gets older. The large bike path around the park is a huge bonus.
This is probably the best park to come running out in Idaho Falls. It has almost a 1 mile loop around the park. Lots of people come here to walk their dogs. There is also a great playground set there is softball fields that are used for tournaments.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
