Confirmed from Covington Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with a playground & multiple sports facilities, including a 9-hole golf course.
What runners say about Covington Woods Park
“This is such a nice park, has everything you could think of, they even have Cornhole board's so bring your bags, and the bathrooms were very clean”
“In all it’s just a great place to get out of the house for a while and listen to the birds singing on a beautiful day.”
“Great park for the kids and a decent amount of shade for the hot days”
“It appears to be in an affluent and calm neighborhood.”
Another great park by BG parks and recreation. Has tennis, basketball, a softball diamond, large playground for the kiddos and several shelters of different sizes. Adjacent to the Paul Walker golf course. Lots of shaded places to sit and hang out.
I absolutely LOVE Covington Woods Park! It’s always very clean and quiet there. My nieces have so much fun there and the playground is taken very good care of. It’s a nice place to walk your dog or ride a bike over in that general area. Picnics or reading a good book.
This park is so nice!!! So clean and well kept, unlike the parks out where we live, which are all graffitied and rusting. My kids loved the giant musical instruments, the variety of swings and slides. So much space for them to run around and get their energy out.
Small park, but it's clean, pretty and in a nice area. Next to golf course. The park itself is not very big. Great for small kids. Has playground. You can walk around it in 10 minutes. However, it connects by sidewalk to a nice neighborhood and you can walk for miles. Park here and walk to kereokas park and back.
