Confirmed from Cox Pinnacle Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Cox Pinnacle Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (20 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy trails for anyone, you can't get lost which is always a plus.”

We had a good hike today! Nothing exciting about this place. But a nice walk in the woods for sure. It was a beautiful spring day with mostly sun. Some soggy spots, nothing to complain about. Some nice planks to walk on. Maybe we would come back at some point. Good place for dogs that aren't so friendly.

I joined a friend on a walk on this trail. It was my first time checking it out, and I loved it!

★★★★★ — Ashley , Aug 2024

Brunswick's highest point. A difficult trail to find with very little marking it and far from.the parking area, but definitely a lovely walk.

★★★★★ — Maegan , Nov 2016

Nice, easy trails with a little elevation. Did some geochaching while there. Dogs loved it!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
