Confirmed from Crimson Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-rated hiking trail featuring scenic views, including tall cliffs and fall colors.
What runners say about Crimson Trailhead
“A beautiful hike taking you along the mountainside, through the forest, and right up against the cliffs.”
A very diverse fun hike. Lots of sun and lots of shade. The only downfall was the sound of the cars below. Didn’t feel as secluded as I normally like on hikes but there isn’t much you can do about that. There is one section that is really steep through the trees but it was so pretty.
Crimson trail is one of the more difficult "shorter" trails up Logan Canyon. It is a loop so you can start from either side. The Spring Hollow way up is an easier climb up, but still a workout. If you follow the river trail up first then cut up the north end (or should I say East?
Beautiful trail. I would rate this as a moderate trail with a steep incline going up and coming down and a flat-ish walk at the top. This trail can be done as a loop if the riverside walk is included (no reason not to) and is probably better done in the anti-clockwise direction.
The place is beaitiful and you can reserve for parking. The trails are up hill at the end of road. I did not get exactly which trail is which but they are well marked.

“If you park at the spring hollow campground you have to walk through the whole ground before you see a sign for the trailhead.”
