Great parking area if you want to access the D & L Trail. The lot is usually empty so there is a lot of parking here. If you cross the bridge to the left of the lot there is an access area down to the Lehigh River that is easy to get to. It is a beautiful area to sit and just reflect.
Best place to walk instead of going through town. Nice and peaceful. Plenty of wild life to see
One thing I noticed after the first year, after they opened it was a nice police presence two cops at a time because some parts of that trail are very scary and very lonely and if you know there's cops out there protecting you it's a good thing especially in a wooded area like that.
