Confirmed from Day Pond MTB's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Day Pond MTB
Great place for the family to come and relax. Pond has sand shore and is clean. Water is dirty/ will stain ur clothing brown/red. But nice and warm. Pets are allowed on leash and can go in the water, fishing, hiking, good place for mushroom picking. Has grills on site and piconick benches. Plenty of shade and parking.
2nd Hike for the Sky's the Limit hiking challenge we've done this year, a nice treat of a trail to go on. It is labeled as easy to moderate on the list and that is true, there is a bit uphill in some areas, but nothing crazy.
Well maintained hiking trails. Beautiful and scenic whichever way you decide to hike. Make sure you wear proper fitting as the terrain can get rocky and steep in some areas. If you are lucky enough to find the falls, it’s worth the hike!
It was ok has a big picnic area a pavilion, lots of parking has port potties.,hiking trails .i went there to find the waterfall, but hiked about 4 miles on blue trail never found it.,of course you ask local people, they send you on a wild goose chase.
Trail conditions & character
“Saw a cool rusted up car, which kept us busy thinking about what it was and how it got there until the trail forked to the waterfall.”
“Just following along the blue trail South loop we got off track a couple times when the trail forked because the maps and real life can get a bit jumbled, but nothing crazy.”
