We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Diamond Summit Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Diamond Summit Trailhead
I like to park my car at Lodestone Park, hike up the hill, cross 6200 at the Mountain View Corridor intersection, and jog down the path to this little outdoor gym for a quick strength training session. For a slow runner like me, going there and back is a nice 30- to 45-minute workout.
It's a nice safe place to walk/jog/bike. The only thing I wish it had was a bridge going over 6200 S.. Having to cross at the cross walk at that busy intersection is somewhat concerning. And it also stops you from a good pace.
Love ending my jogs here! It’s a great bonus workout when you don’t want to drive to the gym. Just run for an hour and hit this gem up. 🙏 if only they’d turn on the drinking fountain 🤙🏼
