Confirmed from Dimple Dell Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (818 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Plenty of wide well paved or well maintained gravel/dirt paths.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 16 mentions

“I was driving in the area a few months ago (summertime) and saw a BEAUTIFUL field of wild sunflowers as I came around the bend.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Sadly I don’t own a horse to bring to the park but hopefully one day because this park is so gorgeous and so peaceful!”

Dimple Dell Regional Park Trail was very pleasant to walk. The part we were on was easy. Easy on the feet - most of the trail was deeply mulched. We saw a few horses. The mountains were beautiful. There was a light mist at the bottom. The stream was nice and full and had a lovely sound.

I grew up calling this place "The Gully." But whatever you call it, it's phenomenal. So vast, always new places to explore, even if you've frequented it since a child, like myself. The one thing I really can't stand is the wood chips on the trails. Great for horses, NOT for humans.

Trails are multi use trails. Hikers, bicyclists and horseback riders. (Lots of horses) Dogs are allowed if kept on a leash. There are 15 miles of Trails.Trails merge into several different trails if you want to extend your hike. Lots of birds today. Hardly any people when I started out.

This is our favorite little hiking route by far. Especially for a little sunset: hike, walk around granite park, trail running or for throwing the ball for our lab onazy days at granite park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
