Mt Tammany blue and red dot trails are amazing for moderate hike. At some points it is pretty steep and rocky. It is rated as hard, but i would rather say its moderate. Very nice views of Delaware water gap.
Nice views of 6-8 foot waterfall. A bed of water sits on top so peacefully perfect. It’s an easy walk to it. There a wooden bench where I ate my lunch 🥪 🧃. If you gonna do the whole walk, don’t forget water.
The area is beautiful. Heavy forest, like nature is alive. Found a blue hole about 10 minutes in from blue trail side.
Great hiking experience, not for beginners or those with a serious medical condition. The view at the top is well worth the hike! Wear sturdy hiking boots. Not a good place for a first time Tinder date. Parking can be difficult but there are multiple lots. Go up the Red trail and down the Blue.
