Confirmed from Minisink Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiker-friendly park featuring trails and open fields for soccer, baseball and other sports.
What runners say about Minisink Park
“I've taken some photos I think are beautiful at Minisink and my successes are because of the natural beauty of the park.”
Nice park for a quick walk. There are trails at the back of the sports fields that go all they down to Cherry Creek and beyond. It only too me 20 years to notice.
Peggy, my black lab, and Bill and I love to wander around Minisink. I am a wannabe photographer and Bill and Peggy are walker/runner(s). I've taken some photos I think are beautiful at Minisink and my successes are because of the natural beauty of the park.
A very nice walk in the woods (if you can ignore the I-80 traffic noise 😉) I have been driving past this area for about 50 years and never stopped to check it out. The trails were well groomed and easy to walk.
The trails were very nice to walk. There are options on how far you want to walk including several trails which I liked. Well the trails go around two athletic fields and out into the woods near some Creeks that are quite beautiful. Many trees have come down and they are quite unsightly in places.

Plan your run at Minisink Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
