Confirmed from Eagle Landing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eagle Landing Park
“A friend of mine told me that once you get to the beach, it’s beautiful and you can fish there too.”
Despite not being able to get to the beach, it’s still a decently long and beautiful trail. My dog enjoyed it. 🐕
Eagle Landing Park is more of a trail than a park. It is nicely tucked away in a secluded area in Burien, not far from Three Tree Point. There’s a sign at the entrance that says, “Eagle Landing Park.” There are five parking spaces at the site.
Ideal walk with shade, up and down the path, cannot go to beach because of land slides.
Great scenic view of nature, a unique overwatch area that can be comforting.
Trail conditions & character
“What a fantastic view of the whole area, you can see Des Moines, Quartermaster Harbor, Bremerton, and when they are shooting off fireworks, even Seattle and Tacoma.”
“” There are five parking spaces at the site.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
