Confirmed from Eagle Nest Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor park providing paved walking trails, softball fields, picnic pavilions & eagle sightings.

It’s a very nice park. Good running trails. But they are in concrete. Also the running trail through the park does not have lights. Only the trail that’s by the houses. Huge open playing field for soccer, football, frisbee, and other playing activities. It does have a covered area with a table.
Very peaceful and quiet walk with the sounds of nature all around you. They have a very secluded trail, which is nice to get away from all the noise. I highly recommend this park if you want a short walk in your day.

Well manicured grass, birds flying over, the chirping of birds in the early morning, benches to sit, just beautiful, I enjoyed my walk. Thank you.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
