Confirmed from Shingle Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shingle Creek Trail
“It is quiet, scenic, and this is probably the closest thing you would get to a trail because you could run on grass on the side.”
“Paved trails, quarter mile markers, map, informative signs along the way, scenic overlook (pictured).”
Needed a place to go for a run while on vacation and this park was five minutes away from our hotel. Met all the basic needs. Paved trails, quarter mile markers, map, informative signs along the way, scenic overlook (pictured).
Awesome hiking, biking, birdwatching, nature viewing and photography ops, sparkling waters, and Geo-caching right in the heart of tourist town! Apparently, such a hidden gem, some cannot even find it!? Lol. It's there, I promise.
GREAT paved trail for biking, walking, running, or even skating. It's a very nicely marked trail, with quarter mile markers, cool bridges, and Real Florida sights. Park at Cinemark/behind Dezerland.
Nice place for biking and walking around lots of trees and very clean. I didn't see bathrooms but the walking trail is nice
