Confirmed from Earth Day Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Fun easy trail with great views.”

Arrived late morning Sunday May 14, 2023. It was a really lovely day the wind was breezy and the air warm but not hot of humid. It's a short trail that due to the constant breeze was sand gnat free but under other conditions the sand gnats could be troublesome.

This is a great, well-maintained trail in Glynn county. It is centrally located & Easy to access, perfect for families with small children or novice hikers to get great views of the marsh. There are several picnic areas, benches, and observation towers/platforms. There is also a covered shelter at the beginning.

★★★★★ — Mello , Jan 2018

Upon arriving in the parking lot the entrance is located to the left of the Coast Guard headquarters. There are benches, a picnic area, and covered gazebo. The trail itself is very short but very lovely. It is a nice respite from the surrounding city.

★★★★☆ — Yuko , Oct 2022

This trail is really peaceful, educational and it isn't very long. There's benches to sit and enjoy the views, a watch tower too! I ended up saving 3 little crabs from inside a beer can some jerk left on the trail 😡 but it's beautiful and well kept!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
