Confirmed from Elizabethtown Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
104-acre public pastureland nature preserve featuring a creek & a gravel walking trail.

Very clean and well kept park. The trail around the perimeter/ lake is what we did. It was five miles. One half was gravel path and shady woody area. The veteran wall was also a very nice area. It has two dog parks, disc golf, boat rentals Lots of picnic spots.
Really nice place for a walk. In the heat its unbearable to walk bythe water, but if you go left you can walk in the shade of the forest. Absolutely loved it
This is one park that anyone in the family can enjoy. Whether you walk, jog, run, bike, or scooter. Every one is going to have a good time. The park maintenance really takes pride in their lawn and making sure the park is clean. The veteran wall is a sight to see as well as the beautiful statues in the center.
Beautiful tribute to our veterans. Fun nature trails. My family and I had a wonderful time. Beautiful and peaceful!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
