Confirmed from Freeman Lake Running Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Site featuring a paved trail around a lake, plus a dog park, wildlife, and picnic areas.

“Great park to dish, stroll, run and bike ride on the trails.”
There is an approximately 5 mile trail around the lake and it connects with the veterans park across the street via a tunnel under Rind Road. Trail is well maintained.
Great park to dish, stroll, run and bike ride on the trails. It's clean and fresh this time of the year. And they have portable toilets if needed.
The map says the trail goes all the way around the lake, but on the park (Dixie highway) side of the lake there isn’t a trail in som places and you need to follow the shore or find your own way. It’s not a problem, but I was expecting an a trail. Otherwise, it’s a good trail and a beautiful lake.
Easy free parking that takes you to the less commercial side of the lake. The trails have plenty of shaded areas that will make your run or walk pleasant even in the hot summer.
Trail conditions & character
“There’s a dog park, several playgrounds, and multiple picnic shelters.”
“Otherwise, it’s a good trail and a beautiful lake.”
“The trail is paved on the south side and is gravel on the north side.”
“The trails aren't quite as well for biking due to the layer of gravel throughout the trail, but still good for a quick out and back.”
“Some of the side trails (no gravel can be tricky) Needs more porta potties on the east side of the lake.”
