Confirmed from Fall Run Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,373 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“The trail to the main waterfall is easy and well-kept, which was great for our little ones.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 13 mentions

“These trails and scenic opportunities keep the park pretty busy for walkers and hikers, but the parking is sufficient, save for some busy soccer Saturdays.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

“The hike was so relaxing and peaceful, and the shade from the trees made it really comfortable.”

This is the perfect mix between a trail and a park, making nature accessible and enjoyable. The entire route is about 0.85 miles but it includes many beautiful and interactive spots, such as smaller and a larger waterfall, convenient bridges and a staircase.

Cute trail, not too long. There are parking lots on both ends of the trail. I parked at the top lot above the waterfall and it was a short walk to the falls. I went with my dog on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Lots of people with dogs and children.

Very nice park. Great trails with great scenery. The waterfall is neat to see. During the winter the waterfall freezes and makes great photos. This park is a short distance from one end to the other. The trail is clear and clean. Normally flat other than the steps going up next to the main waterfall.

We needed to get the kids out of the house on a hot September day and Fall Run Park was the perfect escape. The hike was so relaxing and peaceful, and the shade from the trees made it really comfortable.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
