Confirmed from Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area
“Beautiful area for bird watching and enjoying the beautiful Utah landscape.”
We drove along the snow and ice covered muddy roads, happy we didn't bring the minivan. The scenery was peaceful, and we saw an amazing blue heron, kestrel, ducks, geese, bald eagles and several other raptors and water fowl. We also stopped at the information center and hiked around the area in the snow.
Wow! A great wildlife preserve so close to home! Fun visiting center, trails for an easy hike, and plenty of photo ops for birds and other animal life. Great for kids. Bring your camera, hats, water, and sunscreen.
This is a great place to see wild wetland creatures or take the nature walk with the kiddos. There's a nice learning center and a boardwalk in addition to several nesting towers for Great Herons.
This place is awesome! We went on a nice December day and had a great time! The reflections in each little body of water were out of this world! The hardest part was walking with the stroller on the gravel walkway, wasn't too bad but if you have a tiny little umbrella stroller you may have more of an issue!
