What runners say about Fernwood trail
Somebody's put a great deal of effort to keep the start of the trail nice and put in some cinder block paving stones to stop erosion. The first 400 meters is super steep, but it levels out and is super pretty from there. Bathroom is also very nice and well kept.
Nice trails. Beautiful bridge and water in the beginning where you step on rock a little stream of water in April. Not sure if water is constantly flowing all through out the summer. After you cross the stream the incline and decline begins. Not too difficult but a nice workout with nice views of the valley.
