Confirmed from Ficklen Island's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park on the Rappahannock River featuring trails, fishing, and areas for picnics.

Great little scenic area with trails leading to the Rappahannock River, close to Falmouth Bridge on Riverside Drive in Fredericksburg. Multi use area, particularly in warmer months for fishing, picnicking, water sports and more.
We found it very nice for a walk, fishing, and swimming (for great swimmers).
Beautiful forested island full of small trails. The exposed rock next to the river's rapids is very scenic. Be warned: there is a lot of poison ivy on the island, so dress accordingly.
Cool little island right off of the path and Indian Punch Bowl. Little hidden paths run throughout before getting to the water. A lot of ways to get access to the water and ton of rocks to hop across. Nice little spot and water looked great.
