Confirmed from Fleming Falls Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Forest and meadows interlace this nature area, where trails wind past waterfalls and streams.

“Peaceful, relaxing a hidden gem in Richland County.”

I love this place. It holds so much depth of beauty for being tucked away in Mansfield, of all places. While it does not have paved trails or anything so fancy, it is well maintained and the trails are easy to walk. It also has a good variety of scenery, from meadows to deciduous forest to rows of planted pine trees.

Cute little nature preserve with a short walk to a cute little waterfall. There are several boards displaying the history of the location which was nice. They recently built a shelter, but would be nice to have a few more rocking chairs or places to sit. We enjoyed spending about a half hour or so here.

This is a charming nature preserve with a stream meandering through it and a wonderful pine forest. The trails are well marked and easy.

Great place for a hike and some sight seeing!!! Richland county just purchased it a few years ago so it is still a work in progress, that's why it's only currently open on the weekends. Beautiful pine forest, countless water falls, well marked trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
