Confirmed from Flint Canyon Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Great trail for an easy hike, bring water and sunscreen.”

This trail is awesome. A short half mile hike to the top of the mountain which takes about 12 to 15 minutes. The hills are easy to hike for young and old. I do suggest that you wear hiKing shoes with good traction since the paths are dirt and sand. The best part of this trail is a lot of trees and shades.

Update: Have taken this so many times since my initial review and love this trail. This was initially to create a video for Mari Copeny aka LittleMissFlint for her 17th birthday.

Loved the hike. Small one, but still it’s good. The total hike was around 4 miles. Don’t get lost as there are lots of trails around and they all look similar. The difficulty level depends on the one you take.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
