Confirmed from Foley Kids Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family site with playground equipment & castles, picnic facilities, ball fields & a swimming pool.
What runners say about Foley Kids Park
“Wonderful shaded park, clean, and has a nice walking path and even a skate park.”
“Wonderful shaded park, clean, and has a nice walking path and even a skate park.”
“Beautiful playground, fully inclusive, something for all ages and abilities, and it's huge!”
For a over a million dollar park, I think this could have been designed a little better. The only input asked for was the "theme" of the park. The brown "log" or balance beam is the same color as the ground and made of a very very hard material with no give whatsoever.
Kids LOVE it! Wonderful shaded park, clean, and has a nice walking path and even a skate park. Definitely recommend!

Plan your run at Foley Kids Park
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
