Beautiful hiking trails with quite the diversity of plants and animals. The Larsen's Trail went through a desert plains area with both cacti and wildflowers, as well as a small wooded area with pine and cedar trees. The Will James Trail leads down to the home, a treat for history lovers.
One of the sickest hikes I've been on recently with a long history belonging to the Crow Indians. You'll be able to see all of Billings from the top. You'll also most likely see peregrine falcons nesting if you climb to the top.
If you’re looking for a quick trail run, family hike, or place to walk the dog that is within easy driving distance of Downtown Billings, this is the spot. It’s got some great views of the Yellowstone River, downtown Billings, and the south Rims.
These trails were a lot of fun! The trail to the river access is pretty steep and rocky but still a blast. Sacrifice Cliff has a gorgeous view over the Yellowstone river.
