This park has Soft ball, Baseball, and soccer fields. A small lake that has a small island in the center. Made complete by the trail that conveniently terminates at the sidewalk. Hopefully more trails will be added later, it's only about 2.75 miles.
The trail through this park is my favorite part of Manhattan. I walk it when I need to clear my head or just safely get out of the house. It stays relatively dry after the rain and it's well maintained. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice place to walk, run, or bike. Family friendly.
Really nice park. Baseball, softball diamonds, tennis courts, soccer fields, walking paths and playgrounds for the little ones shows this park has something for everyone. Parking was free when I was here and there is plenty of it. On a beautiful day there are a lot of people out using this park.
