Confirmed from Linear Trail S Manhattan Ave Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Linear Trail S Manhattan Ave Trailhead
“A great trail for walking and running, offering beautiful views along the route.”
“The paved or dirt parts should be great for someone who likes to run, as they are all in the shade, but the gravel parts are more meant for bikes and work very well.”

Still my fav bike trail. People whine about it not all being paved, but that’s not the point. The paved or dirt parts should be great for someone who likes to run, as they are all in the shade, but the gravel parts are more meant for bikes and work very well.
Great trail. Patches to the trail are being done with loose gravel. It needs to be packed down.
My favorite place to run in Manhattan. The path is mostly comprised of small gravel with a few stretches on the west side paved. The west entrance begins sandwiched between the fire department and subway on the south side of Anderson road, west of Seth Child.
An excellent head of a trail. It's in the middle so you have plenty of room to go in BOTH directions. Sometimes real, live trains go by.
