Confirmed from Garber Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation area with a mile-long foot trail that loops through 13 acres of forest.
What runners say about Garber Park
“The Loop Trail isn't crowded, and is a beautiful walk just strenuous enough for a novice or a family with young kids.”
This is a great little park nestled in a neighborhood behind the Claremont. The Loop Trail isn't crowded, and is a beautiful walk just strenuous enough for a novice or a family with young kids.
This is a sweet little loop hike in an area where you would not expect to even find a trail. The main access is from Claremont Avenue, but you can also enter from Alvarado, Rispin and Evergreen. It's about a mile long with a pretty steep but manageable climb.
Nice shaded trails near the Claremont Hotel. There aren’t really any bathrooms or picnic tables that I could find so plan accordingly.
This park is interesting because of the steep trail that leads up from it into the hills above Claremont Canyon. Well situated interesting hikes in the Berkeley Path system.
