Confirmed from Gilbert Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is really special to me — it’s so close to home, and it’s where I had my very first date with my now-husband. It has a lovely grassy area that’s perfect for a picnic or even a cute little photo session.

I enjoy doing my walking meditation at the labyrinth. It would be a perfect 5 if others would respect leash law and scoop the poop. I don't like other dogs running up on me with my dog, who is leashed. Beautiful park despite that.

★★★★☆ — Windi , Sep 2025

With several picknick tables and trees for shade this park is great to bring a lunch and enjoy simply being out of doors. The big hill has enough slope for sledding in the winter time and there are 1 pokestop and 1 gym for PoGo.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 14 mentions

“Its that type of park where not a lot of people over there, but really great to walk with your dog.”
