Confirmed from Goodrich Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public space with 13+ acres of dense forestland, marked hiking trails & a parking lot.
What runners say about Goodrich Woods
“quiet place with a small loop and plenty of ways to get off path for some exploring in the mud”
Nice walking path through the forest. Tall trees give shade on hot days, and the trail is not so long, so you can hike through in 30 mins or less. There are no restrooms, thought. Otherwise, this is a pleasant place for a walk through the woods.
Great park for a perfect walk in the woods. Perfectly located almost in the middle of the city, but walking here gives you a sense of silent and relaxation. Fairly large parking lot and wide paths.
It's just a trail through the forest but it's very pleasant and my dog is well behaved and won't travel far from me so he gets taken off the leash to run in the forest it's great. The trail is mostly just a circle so you don't have to worry about making a wrong turn back.
What a fun cool little hike. The entire thing is fully forested, it's only a half a mile, but has some really cool things to see along the way with a giant fallen tree, two bridges, and an old chimney in the middle of the forest. I wonder if that old chimney used to belong to an old house that's long ago disappeared.
