Confirmed from Point State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
36-acre park at the intersection of 3 rivers with boating, hiking, biking & a Fort Pitt museum.

Point State Park is a beautiful spot in downtown Pittsburgh where the city’s three rivers—the Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio—converge. The park offers stunning views of the rivers and surrounding skyline, and the iconic fountain at the point is a must-see.
Beautiful park to walk around. We parked in downtown and then just walked to the park. The fountain looks really nice. We took the incline afterwards and saw the aerial view of the fountain and it's very impressive.
Great place to see the 2 rivers form the Ohio River. There are no guardrails to protect you from falling into the rivers. Very windy, so securing your personals is a must. There are shaded walkways to enjoy some botanical insight and learn about the local vegetation. Great place to run, jog or bike.
If you’re visiting Pittsburgh, a stop at Point State Park is an absolute must. We were in town for a wedding and chose this as the spot for our family to meet up and take photos together. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip and gave us memories we’ll cherish for years to come.
Trail conditions & character
“It’s not a place with a lot of activities, but more of a spot to slow down for a bit, take a walk, or enjoy the view of downtown Pittsburgh from a distance.”
