Confirmed from Grant Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It is an absolutely beautiful place with really nice trails and so much wildlife

★★★★★ — Christopher , Jun 2024

Really nice, interesting trails with a lot of relief/elevation change, and creek access. Several inclines with steps installed, a few bridges, a short boardwalk, and a prairie trail with wildflowers, and a pond.

★★★★★ — Adam , Jun 2022

I thought this park was lovely. It's good so take a walk in brisk, sunny weather. I would love to come back in the spring or summer when plant life is no longer dormant. Very accessible paths, and there were many families enjoying the park. Public restroom was very clean.

I loved this park. I have lived in Dayton my entire life and never heard about this place. I highly recommend this to everyone. I used the “AllTrails” app to navigate but all of the paths are carved out well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
