Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Great for Everyone: It’s just a short, easy walk down to the scenic overlook.”

Great hike. Not too many people on for. The trails are pretty long. It's 2 miles to the first canal and if you do the Clay Rd Trail it's probably close to 10 miles round-trip. Tons of wildlife; gators, turtles, birds.

Beautiful park and well maintained. Spoke to someone who parks his van here and bicycles 103 miles, 3 times a week. For those less ambitious, you can picnic here and walk out to the tower/overlook (about 500-600 yards...wheelchair friendly). Clean restrooms and your furry friend is welcome to.join you.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Green Mountain Scenic Overlook & Trailhead! It’s such a well-maintained spot, and honestly, a total winner if you’re looking for a quick outdoor escape. There’s plenty of parking and a standalone bathroom, which is always a plus.

Love this trail! My husband and I rode our E bikes early one February morning. Not paved, but very well maintained. Saw lots of wildlife in nature. Clean restrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“They do have a tower to look out BUT unfortunately the trees have grown so the view is semi- blocked.”
