Confirmed from Grey Hawk Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Newer park featuring a zip line, basketball and pickleball courts and a playground plus a disc golf course.
What runners say about Grey Hawk Park
“Bathrooms are generally clean .”
“And we are looking forward to shade either by canopies or trees soon.”
We really like this park. It's by the city dump, but you don't notice that very much and you can get some really good breezes to cool off up there. There is a zip line which is fun. And we are looking forward to shade either by canopies or trees soon. 🙏 Currently there is very little shade or shelter.
Lots of fun and variety for the kids. They love the zip line in particular. Too bad there’s not any shade.
Favorite park by far. This place has everything from a zip line, to basketball courts, pickleball courts, a running track.. slides, a climbing gym, a little kids park, all that it’s missing are swings. Newer parks don’t seem to have swings anymore.
Your kids will play here for hours and live every second of it! When we'r pulled up I was a little belvede because it was so packed, but when we'r started playing it wad totally fine because it's so big that lots of kids can be so spread out.

“This park is big and has a zipline, tennis court, basketball court, field with paved walkway all the way around it and restrooms as well!”
“This place is right by the dump, which is cool to peek over and see what goes on while running on the track or taking your dog for a walk.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
