One of my favorite trails to visit! - solid 4 mile loop from cars and back, more if you explore though! 2 relatively steep inclines, but fairly short ones. The surplus parking that was added has been a huge improvement - thank you so much! 3/10 in difficulty. Very casual stroll friendly :)

One of my favorite trails in lenoir. Lots of options here and different scenic vistas. Good rock hunting after the river goes down and a diverse range of plant, mushroom, bug, bird, and tree species all year round.
Great place to take your dog for a nice walk off leash. See multiple people with there dogs and others just enjoying nature. The trails are nice throught the woods and around the lake with no major obstacles othern then small rocks and the occasional tree roots.
