Confirmed from Harrison City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picnic-ready park featuring baseball fields, tennis courts and basketball courts.

Wow! Beautiful park. You'd never expect this park just a mile outside of town. Lush, green rolling hills. Acres of picnic areas all covered by huge, mature trees. Tons of areas to keep the kids busy.
It's a nice, quick walk around area following your choice of paths Not a lot of shade along the way but some spots were nice to slow down thru..notice the trail "marker" pointing you in the right direction 🤦 the exercise equipment at the front of the trail was pretty interesting as well.
My kids and I stop/ visit here often. I love the nice walkway around the park as well as the walking area located further behind the back of the park with a nice outdoor exercise at the start of the trail. The park is usually clean, mowed, and kept up nicely.
The Harrison City park has a lot to offer for a small town park. Features of the park include a nature/bike trail, fitness equipment, baseball fields, four pavilions, tennis court, basketball court and horseshoe pits. There are a variety of play structures both new and old with plenty of room to run around.
