Confirmed from Indian Pines Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Indian Pines Park
“Rugged trail, leads back to a beautiful clearing on the bend of the river.”
“Not many people, it is quiet and the trail along the river is nice.”
Ignore the 1 star review for not having beaten down trails. This park is for a closer look at undisturbed nature. There is a clear trail, however, you should have skills of knowing how to look for markers in the woods.
Shhhh! Don’t tell everyone but this place is wonderful. If you’re not afraid of a slice of wild woods this as close we can get here in Central Michigan. Please be respectful and help keep this park just the way it is! Such a fun place to explore and sit with nature. Not recommended for running - it’s too wild for that.
Rugged trail, leads back to a beautiful clearing on the bend of the river. Not sure how long the trail is, or how many trails there are but there seems to be multiple trails winding around back in there. It's very peaceful and quiet to hike back in here.
Beautiful .5 mile hike Best hidden treasure in MtP Follow trial you will be fine Lots of wild life!
