Confirmed from Wilson State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
36-acre, lakeside park offering a sandy beach & a wooded campground, plus cross-country ski terrain.

Nice park. Very few sites that are great. As many have said, many are basically right on the Main Street. Some even back up to a new Taco Bell coming in. Not many restaurants/bar in the area if you are into that. Couple cute shops in town Some other observations ── ☐ Lots of sites have power 1-2 campsites away.
Decent getaway from home. If you don't mind the sounds of the highway and sirens, it's a great place to stay. Most of the sites are quite large, wide and deep ones. The campground is in the process of building another water and dump station, presently, there's only one.
Wonderful state park! Tucked away in the middle of the mitten on beautiful Budd Lake. Wilson state park has a lot to offer. Very nice playgrounds for both small children and adults. Nice beach with a beautiful pavilion along with restrooms. Foot path along the lake shore takes you from one end to the other of the park.
Great little park! We stayed in the lodge and it was very roomy and clean. Great for a family weekend! Small beach area but not too small! It’s easy to access and has a concession area as well. Park is well maintained. Walk or bike ride to local restaurants and shopping.

“I just wish the path to the beach with a stroller wasn’t so long but hell it’s a good walk I guess.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
