Confirmed from Sylvan Solace Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Preserve featuring butterfly gardens, a trail network , pollinator gardens, woods and river views.
What runners say about Sylvan Solace Preserve
“Beautiful nature trails with QR barcoded sign check points that gave detailed information on local wildlife, plants, trees and the surroundings on the trail.”
“Peaceful, beautiful trails along the gorgeous Chippewa river.”
I love Sylvan Solace Preserve. This place has the best nature trail through the woods, and down by the river... My husband and I take our dogs for walks there all year round. Thank God we live right down the road. The trails are kept up, kudos to those who take care of it.
One of my go-to short hiking and painting spots a long a nice stretch of the Chippewa River
Truly wonderful preserve. quiet and serene. I went early in the morning with my camera and I loved the trails, wildlife and of course the pollinator garden! I would recommend you go and check this place out but it was very humid back in the thick of it and perhaps an early morning or late afternoon trip is best to…
Well maintained yet seemingly one of the lesser known of the CWC preserves, a true gem in our area. One of my favorites to visit as it includes a loop trail (great for dogs!), access to the chippewa river and plenty of biodiversity to explore and study.
