Confirmed from Haverford Reserve Meadow's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling scenic space with woodland trails for walking (including kid-friendly options), plus a disc golf course and an off-leash dog area.
What runners say about Haverford Reserve Meadow
“Such a beautiful place to spend the day and walk, so many different trail options of varying terrain and difficulty.”
“Always a nice quiet place to gather with the scouts and spend time together”
Beautiful, peaceful & very well maintained while keeping it natural. Neighbors volunteer their time throughout the year to keep the Reserve in great shape. Local Scout groups have volunteered & made improvements over the years like tree planting and Dog Park improvements. This is a great community epicenter.
Such a beautiful place to spend the day and walk, so many different trail options of varying terrain and difficulty. There’s also a disc golf course within the trails, which I’m definitely curious to try during a future visit. The trails are very well covered by trees as well, which is great for hot days.
It is a nice trail that took about 1 hr to complete. We did the Northbrook trail that goes conveniently around in a loop. Most of it is surrounded by trees so it's cool in a hot day. Family friendly.
Well marked trails for walking and hiking ( for most of the way), several trail options, dig friendly and next too dog park and kids playground

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
