Confirmed from Haverford College Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Haverford College Nature Trail
Enjoyable walking trail within the Haverford College campus. This public trail is flat, marked well and largely gravel or packed earth. It is a loop around the perimeter of the campus with various views along the way. Enjoy forest, glade, water and campus buildings. It is open dawn to dusk with easy parking.
Well-maintained 2.2 mile flat loop trail that circles the perimeter of the historic Haverford College campus. It's free and open to visitors daily year-round, is dog-friendly (on leash) and there is visitor parking near the trail entrance.
Pretty good for an hour hike around the campus. Area around the pond really looks like arboretum. College campus looks quite competitive and integrated with nature.
Perfect trail, not too long, mostly shaded, very dog friendly, very slight elevation changes. Highly recommend this trail!!

The practical stuff

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
