Confirmed from Haverford College Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Looping walking trails (much of them shaded), plus a creek and a pond, running through a college campus.

Great trail in nearby Haverford PA. Perfect for a walk with Nova the Wonder Pup. Shaded, quiet and peaceful. It is hard to believe that this runs around a college campus. It passes right by the #StrawbridgeObservatory right in the middle of the campus. There was even a family of deer grazing by the pond.

Absolutely LOVE the nature trail. It’s a roughly 2.5 mile mostly flat trail. They keep it well kept so you can walk it year round. There are a lot of beautiful marked trees and small wildlife around. The trail is scenic and circles Haverford Colleges’ campus. You can stop by the creek or pond as well.

Haverford campus has always been a resting place for anyone wanting to visit with nature. Beautiful wood benches are scattered throughout the grounds perfectly appointed for a scenic view. I go there to walk, write, contemplate or just sit. Sometimes I imagine I am at Walden Pond. It is just peaceful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
