Confirmed from Haw Ridge Park, Trailhead 2's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Haw Ridge Park, Trailhead 2
Our favorite trail so far in Oak Ridge. So many changes in elevation that you are constantly walking up one hill after another. I'd say this is probably the most "hilly" paved trail in Oak Ridge.
Another light rain day. Great to hike on the trail. On the Silo, you can find many relics of the old days. The spring wild flowers are coming.
Haw Ridge has a bit of everything for the trail runner and mountain biker. From easy single track to the Hill of Truth (literally an long ascent at the trailhead, not for the faint of heart). There is tons of varying terrain and the trails are well maintained.
Easy to find, park, and immediately get on the trail. Lots of trail options here and it’s nice to be by the water.
