Confirmed from Hayford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Bangor Parks & Rec does a great job of keeping it clean and well groomed.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Especially in winter it is an enjoyable treat for kids of all ages.”

Great neighborhood park. Quite a few people drive a bit to come here too as it is so nice. Playground is great, but there is also an excellent set of walking trails, a sled hill, a skate park, a ball park, and hockey ring all right there, as well as a pool with water slides.

Especially in winter it is an enjoyable treat for kids of all ages. The long sloping hill is wonderful for sleds and toboggans. The ensuing ascent back to the top is not too much effort even for small adventurers.

Tennis ! Playground! Events ! This spot is wonderful for a walk around because something is usually going on.

Fantastic playground for my 5yo. Recently renovated. I did spend about 30 minutes wondering how my son was going to injure himself. Turns out it wasn't at the park at all. It was on the way to the bathroom when he tripped on the raised concrete path and split his lip.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 5 mentions

“I wish there were bathrooms available for the playground and such, that would make staying longer much easier.”
