Confirmed from Penobscot River Walkway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park has a fantastic walking path along the water with scenic views everywhere you look. There are also frequent park benches to stop and enjoy some people watching. If you're getting to much sun, there are plenty of large shady trees offering respite from the heat.
Nice area to walk. We just happened to be walking by when a cruise ship came up the penobscot river and docked right in front of us.
While in Bangor, we walked along this walkway. It has a nice view of the water, and is a good place to walk.
This is a wonderful trail. We really enjoyed it and if you need a hour to kill was a great place to do it.
