Confirmed from Holford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Holford Park
“We had an accident but was able to quickly clean it up without any harsh treatment so that's a big plus!”
“First time here, my size plenty of shade have football fields in soccer field and the aquatic center nice area.”
Haven't been here in yrs since my boys played little league. Went back to watch my grandson play, they have really done a great job with upgrades. Plenty of shade over the stands now. Nice!
A loop around is about 1 mile. Great place to run, play basketball, tennis, baseball, football, soccer, pickball, walk your dog. They have a rec center and a waterpark. What more could you ask for (maybe add a few picnic benches)
The pool is so new & nice. They really did it up nicely. They have a pickle ball area, nice trail to walk on. The recreation center is bomb... loved it will go back.
We love this park. It had a great walking path, pool, rec center, basketball and tennis courts, as well as baseball and football facilities. Its clean and well lit.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
