Confirmed from Holly Township Parks & Recreation Office & Sorensen Park & Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground, grilling facilities, baseball fields and a nature center, plus 5-km trails and a disc golf course.
What runners say about Holly Township Parks & Recreation Office & Sorensen Park & Nature Center
“The disc golf course is always clean and it looks very nice, although we don't play, just walk by it as we do our hike.”
Small park that offers walking trails, baseball fields, and a information center. I think there is also a play structure for children. There are no structured restrooms, but there is a porta john located near one of the baseball fields. Great for cardio training!
So cute! Just an absolute hidden gem of well maintained trails, park, and disc golf.
We love bringing our dog here for walks! It's got wonderful trails and it's normally not very busy. The disc golf course is always clean and it looks very nice, although we don't play, just walk by it as we do our hike.
Nice place to go for a run or walk. Trails were clear, and although the markings could be better it's still pretty difficult to get lost. The trails go in and out of woods, marsh, and fields but it also leads to a nice deck built over looking the shiawassee river. We even got to see a hot air balloon go by.
